GEO Proposal Generator: Turn an Audit Into a Priced Client Offer
Converts GEO audit findings into a client-ready proposal with executive summary, three priced tiers, ROI projection, timeline, and terms
You ran the audit, the site scores 32/100, and the prospect is interested. Now you spend a Saturday reformatting findings into something a CFO will read. This playbook writes the proposal instead: business-language pain points, a recommended tier picked by score, and an ROI table that ties back to the audit.
Who it's for: SEO and GEO agency owners, freelance consultants, digital marketing agencies adding AI search services, growth agencies, solo SEO contractors
Example
"Write a GEO proposal for electron-srl.com from this audit" → A send-ready markdown proposal with a 200-word executive summary, the 3 critical findings translated into revenue risk, a scored recommendation for the €5,000/month Standard tier, a 6-month ROI projection, and a month-by-month engagement timeline

Turn GEO audit findings into a client-ready proposal: executive summary, prioritized findings, three priced service tiers, ROI projection, timeline, and terms.
GEO means Generative Engine Optimization — getting a site cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews rather than ranked in a blue-link list.
## Purpose

What This Does
Takes the output of a GEO audit and writes the proposal you would otherwise assemble by hand. GEO means Generative Engine Optimization: getting a site cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews rather than ranked in a list of blue links.
Claude reads the audit, picks the three findings that hurt the most, rewrites them as business problems instead of technical ones, selects a service tier from the score, and fills a full proposal document. Executive summary, market context, score breakdown, three packages, ROI projection, engagement timeline, investment summary, next steps, terms.
The proposal ships priced in euros at €2,500 / €5,000 / €9,500 per month. Swap the currency and the numbers for your market before the first send. The structure survives any price point.
Quick Start
Step 1: Create a Project Folder
mkdir -p ~/Documents/GEOAgency
Step 2: Download the Template
Click Download above, then:
mv ~/Downloads/CLAUDE.md ~/Documents/GEOAgency/
Step 3: Bring an Audit
cd ~/Documents/GEOAgency
claude
Paste your audit output, or say "Write a GEO proposal for electron-srl.com." Claude asks for the audit if it cannot find one, because a proposal without findings is a template, not a pitch.
Proposals save to ~/.geo-prospects/proposals/<domain>-proposal-<date>.md. Pair this with the GEO Prospect Manager and the proposal also flips the prospect's pipeline status.
How the Tier Gets Picked
Claude recommends one package based on the audit score, then marks it in the packages section and names it in the executive summary.
| GEO Score | Recommended tier | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| 0-40 | Premium (€9,500/mo) | Critical issues need intensive work |
| 41-60 | Standard (€5,000/mo) | Significant gaps, structured monthly work |
| 61-75 | Basic (€2,500/mo) | Solid base, monitoring and targeted fixes |
| 76+ | Basic or quarterly retainer | Maintenance only |
Presenting three tiers and letting the client pick shifts the decision onto them. The template presents three and recommends one.
What Goes Into the Proposal
Executive summary — company, industry, score, tier label, the three most urgent issues each with a one-sentence business impact, and the recommended package with its price. Capped at 200 words, because that plus the price is what a decision-maker actually reads.
Market context — a table of the numbers that make the case: AI-referred traffic up 527% year over year, AI traffic converting at 4.4x organic, Gartner projecting a 50% drop in traditional search traffic by 2028, and only 23% of marketers investing in GEO today.
Position table — the prospect's score, crawler access, brand mentions, schema coverage, and llms.txt status against industry average and top performers.
Score breakdown — six weighted categories: AI Citability and Visibility (25%), Brand Authority Signals (20%), Content Quality and E-E-A-T (20%), Technical Foundations (15%), Structured Data (10%), Platform Optimization (10%).
Critical issues — for each one: what we found, business impact, our fix, timeline.
ROI projection — four scenarios from no action to Premium, with projected score, AI traffic increase, and estimated monthly value, plus stated assumptions and a payback period.
Timeline — Month 1 foundation, Months 2-3 optimization, Months 4-6 authority building, Month 6 review, each with an expected score delta.

Rules It Follows
- Business language in client-facing text. "Your product pages have no structured data, so AI assistants cannot read your prices" beats "missing Product schema JSON-LD."
- Every number traces back to the audit. No invented traffic figures. If traffic data is missing, the ROI table gets labeled illustrative.
- No unfilled placeholders. If a value is unknown, Claude asks or drops the row rather than shipping
[COMPANY NAME]to a prospect. - No ranking guarantees. The terms guarantee methodology and effort, not outcomes.
Before Your First Send
Edit these in the template so the first proposal comes out as yours:
- Agency name and calendar link
- Currency and the three monthly rates
- Contract minimums, since 6 and 12 months are defaults rather than law
- The "Why Us" bullets, which currently describe a generic GEO specialist
Limitations
- The proposal is only as good as the audit behind it. This playbook writes the document; it does not scan the site. The full audit suite with crawler checks, citability scoring, and schema analysis lives in the source repo.
- Pricing assumes a European agency selling to SMBs. US, UK, and APAC markets price differently.
- ROI projections use industry benchmarks, not the client's analytics. Treat them as directional and say so in the call.
- The market stats are current as of 2026 and will age. Refresh the numbers table before you lean on it in a pitch.
