Financial Statement Generator
Generate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements from financial data
Month-end close means manually pulling numbers from your accounting system, formatting them into P&L and balance sheet templates, calculating variances, and hoping the cash flow statement balances. Every month, the same tedious process.
Who it's for: accountants preparing monthly financial statements, bookkeepers generating reports for clients, small business owners who need statements for loans or investors, finance teams standardizing reporting across entities, controllers managing period-end close processes
Example
"Generate Q4 financial statements from our trial balance" → GAAP-formatted income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement with period-over-period comparison, material variance callouts, and key metrics summary — ready for board review

It also includes GAAP presentation requirements (ASC 220/210/230) and common period-end adjustments as reference material.
Important: This workflow assists with financial statement preparation but does not provide financial advice. All statements should be reviewed by qualified financial professionals before use in reporting or filings.

Variance Analysis
The assistant automatically flags material variances using scaled thresholds:

Each material variance is decomposed into drivers: volume/quantity, rate/price, mix, one-time items, timing, and currency effects.
